Fincher wants topless 'Dragon Tattoo' poster

Director David Fincher reportedly wants the teaser poster for his next big movie, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo to be a topless image of its lead actress, Rooney Mara.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the award-winning director has designed black and white artwork featuring a tattooed Rooney (as Lisbeth Salander) naked from the waist up.However, Fincher is said to be aware that studio bosses at Sony are unlikely to approve the poster for promotional use.He also revealed that his lead actress has "disappeared" to prepare for the role, getting piercings and tattoos to match author Stieg Larsson's bisexual Swedish hacker."We got her an apartment in Stockholm and she kind of disappeared," he said. "She learned how to ride a motorcycle and got all of her piercings and tattoos. Also, I asked her to learn how to skateboard because you need to stand like a 13-year-old boy. I said, 'I don't want you to stand like a girl'."Fincher's Facebook drama The Social Network has netted eight Academy Award nominations, including 'Best Picture', 'Best Director' and 'Best Actor'.The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo opens in cinemas on December 26.Source: www.hollywoodreporter.com
