CBS confirms 'Two and a Half Men' hiatus

CBS has announced that its sitcom, Two and a Half Men will go on a production hiatus.

The decision comes after leading man Charlie Sheen, who plays Charlie Harper on the show, checked into a rehab facility on Jan 29.

The network said in a statement: "Due to Charlie Sheen's decision to enter a rehabilitation centre, CBS, Warner Bros Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing Two and a Half Men on production hiatus.

"We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision."
