Selina to 'show face' next week

S.H.E. member Selina Jen, who is recovering from third-degree burns, will make a public appearance next week.

The singer is to hold the event to show her gratitude for the support she had been receiving over the few months.

However, the date for the show has not beenannounced yet.

According to hermother,Selina has also beenallowed to go home for the Lunar New Year holidays.

Yu Haoming

The 29-year-old has been hospitalisedsince she was injured while shooting the movie I Have a Date with Spring in China last October.

Also injured was Chinese actor Yu Haoming, who had grabbed Selina in his arms and protected her.

Yu, 24, suffered second-degree burns and 40 per cent of his skin was also burnt.

He was discharged from the hospital last month and is now undergoing a rehabilitation programme.

Selina's fianc has been very supportive and has encouraged her to face the world.

"How longcan shehide? (She) can hide for a while, but nother entire life," he wrote inhisblog.

He said Selina's appearance inpublic would be the beginning of anotherchallenge for her.
