Smokin' hot pop star Shakira and her Argentine boyfriend of 11 years, Antonio de la Rua have called it quits.

Their break-up news was posted on her official website.The hip-wiggling Colombian singer and Antonio say they decided in August to 'take time apart' from their romantic relationship but kept the details private until now.But the two view their separation as temporary, adding that he will continue to oversee her business and career interests."Since August 2010, we made a mutual decision to take time apart from our romantic relationship," read their joint-statement. "We view this period of separation as temporary and as a time of individual growth as we continue to be partners in our business and professional lives."Antonio is the son of a former president of Argentina.A source close to the couple says they are now together in Paris.Source: AP
